Using Collections Report

1. At the first field, select either (S)ales Rep or (C)ustomer, depending on how you wish to view the report.

If you have chosen to run the report by sales rep, a Select An Option window will display. You can generate the report for one, several, or all sales reps. Highlight the appropriate sales rep and press Enter. An asterisk(*) will appear next to the sales rep indicating that it has been selected. Highlight Exit and press Enter when finished selecting. If you want to see all sales reps, highlight ALL SALES REPS, press Enter, and then press Enter again at Exit.

If you have selected Customer, enter the customer ID code for the customer you would like to run the report for or enter "llllll" to select all customers.

2. At the Terms to Include Grace Days option, select Y to include the grace days when calculating the overdue balances or N to exclude grace days. Grace days are assigned to a customer in Customer Credit.

3. At the Include Days Past Terms field, enter the number of days beyond the terms payment due date to use to filter the report, or accept the default of zero to indicate that all customers past due be included on the report. If you enter a value greater than zero, the report will filter only the customers that have an open transaction older than the payment due date plus the number of days entered here. Terms are assigned to a customer in Customer Credit or in the Customer tables.

4. At the Include $ Over Credit Limit field, enter the amount to add to the credit limit when calculating whether the customer exceeds their assigned credit, or accept the default of zero to indicate that any open balance amount that exceeds the credit limit.

5. Select Y to include collection activity notes on the report or N to exclude collection activity notes.

Note: The report will only include item details for customers that are either past due or over their credit limit.

6. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
